Gahanna is a northeast suburb of Columbus. Starting out in the 1800's as a farming community crossroads, Gahanna has grown into a city of over 35,000. In 2001 I was elected to serve a two year term as a Councilman for the residents of Ward I and was re-elected five times. For 10 years I was pleased to represent the residents of Ward I as well as all of the citizens of Gahanna. (McAlister says goodbye after 10 years on council) I seriously took my oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
